There are five in this handwoven collection, perfect for evening wear. The stoles are woven in linen/cotton and the were inspired by the ‘white tail black cockatoo’ which there are hundreds in the Gingin area, Western Australia where I live. The ‘White tail black cockatoos’ are noisy birds and drop half eaten gum nuts on your head as you walk under the gum trees. They are a large bird with a big personality and look so graceful, especially when a large flock takes to the air.
These five stoles can be purchased at the Fremantle Art Center Bazaar on Dec 1st & 2nd.
