My first weaving project for the new year.

A week into Feb and I have just started back weaving on Jo-Anne (my weavebird loom). I had minor surgery in Jan so production was held off until now. I am weaving 100% cotton stoles / shawls with this beautiful complex pattern, I was inspired by the ‘Coverlet’ book my mother-in-law bought me for Christmas.

The warp is a wonderful butter colour and so far I have woven one with a light brown weft and I have started a baby blue one.

I am so happy to be back at the loom again.

    Thanks for the comment Cera. Maybe & hopefully you will. 1st step is to join your local weaving guild and start learning to weave, its easier than you think. Good luck with your future projects. Shirley.
