As a member of the On-line weavers guild I am taking part in this months workshop on Inkle weaving. The workshop is being tutored by Steve Kennett and with his guidance I warped my Inkle loom and wove our 1st braid.

I like the red and green colours. You’re ahead of me, I’d better go and warp up!

Dorothy, My colours are green & gold (orange) the Australian colours! Ya, the flash makes it look redish. Are we to finish the braid?
Shannon, Are you a member of the online guild? I’ll send you the info.
We are making braids then later we are going to make a bag using these straps & then work with texture. I’m looking forward to it.
Cheers

People often ask me what you can do with an inkle braid. I have recently posted a list on my blog and would love other weavers to add to it via comments. http://www.aspinnerweaver.blogspot.com/2009/05/uses-for-inkle-band.html
